Choose your screenshot-to-AI workflow

ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gemini and GitHub Copilot are supported AI Auto Paste applications. Lumshot is a screenshot tool with AI integration: it supplies the image to your conversation, while the chosen AI service supplies the response.

• Screenshot to Cursor: discuss a UI defect alongside your source code.
• Screenshot to ChatGPT: ask about a visible error, chart or application.
• Screenshot to Claude: review a document section or interface.

Send a screenshot to Gemini or GitHub Copilot

Open a supported Gemini or GitHub Copilot conversation, capture the relevant context and confirm that the image appears before adding your prompt. For an interface question, describe the expected behavior and supply any background the screenshot omits.

The public guide does not list every supported edition, focus state or app version. Check the behavior in your conversation; support for a named application is not a promise about all its embedded chats or terminal tools.

When you share with AI

The chosen AI service receives the screenshot you send. Check the image for private information before sharing.

When to use a reviewed capture or manual paste

Choose a capture area that excludes private information before triggering Auto Paste. For sensitive material, prepare and review a screenshot with Smart Redaction or annotation, then attach it manually through the clipboard or file workflow.

If the image does not appear, confirm a supported conversation is open and your Pro license is active. Manual paste, drag and drop or PNG/JPG upload can serve as a fallback where the destination supports it. Contact support with your OS, Lumshot version and AI app version if needed.

AI screenshot workflow questions

Does Lumshot provide its own AI answers?

No. It moves visual context into the supported AI tool you choose. It does not include a third-party AI subscription, generate code or guarantee a correct response.

Is AI Auto Paste included in Free?
